I thought it was very good value. I also thought that for a 3 star hotel it was at the upper end. I've no complaints and would recommend it to friends. The price of the pint @ €3.80 should be advertised!!! However, I would suggest that you hire a new photographer for your website photos. The current group do not, in my view, give a fair reflection of the building internally or externally. The hall/reception area is quite attractive and should be capitalised on. Likewise the front external.
Hotel is situated in a lovely part of Donegal.Only stayed the one night and alls the pity that the lovely restaurant is only open the weekends but these are the times we are living in.Will be back and hopefully for a long weekend.
Hotel staff very rude/overpriced accomodation. Food average
we recently stayed at an granian for a wedding. from the moment we got there we were dealt with wonderfully. staff couldnt have been nicer or more pleasant. the rooms were beautiful and very clean. would absolutley stay again and would definitley recommend to others. also a fabulous venue for a wedding.
nothing cannot fault it
Due to the unseasonal cold weather I felt to have an extra blanket in the room would be better. Also at approx 6:30pm and again at 11:30pm there was a noise like the large bottle bins being wheeled across the floor. Although I was on the first floor the sound did seem to come from above and kept me awake (particularly at 11:30pm) Some basic TV Channels (TV 3 being one) was not tuned in. Having left the hotel I got a call on my way home stating I had not settled my account. I told the receptionist that I had booked through Booked.net and wish to confirm with my credit card once I arrived home. I told her that I would call her in a few hours once I got home and confirmed things. She told me she couldn't wait that long and was not very understanding.
Great food and service in the bar
Breakfast + service very disappointing given standards of bar food evening before
relaxed with competent, helpful staff.
bed was too hard to sleep
Stylish and comfortable. Good gateway stop for Donegal.
Good Breakfast, dining room well decorated. Chairs a bit hard though.
I liked food and ambiance
The Guinness was awful so my husband said
this hotel is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I stay in A few.
Room was very pleasant and bar food excellent standard
A bit expensive - €150 2A + 1C B&B - over the top. Probably taking advantage of Irish dance competition in next town!!! Very nice place but not worth the money!!!
Close to derry city/ buncranna Ideal for a weekend away. V friendly staff. Food was good & hotel v clean. It was v warm in the hotel. V cosy!!
Hotel reasonably priced for a modern well designed hotel. Staff are both effecient and pleasant and the buffet breakfast was excellent with a very extensive choice.
I liked the spacious bedroom and the spacious and modern reception as well as tbe excellent buffet breakfast.
Everything from the location to the very friendly & attentive staff, the fabulous old church restaurant with Max and Ben doing their jobs to perfection, the chef is amazing serving many mouthwatering dishes from starter to main and desserts that i couldnt resist and had to taste. I would certainly visit the restaurant again
